



Eastern Lapland is known for tree-covered fells and vast, wilderness forests. There are four national parks in the area, Pyhä-Luosto National Park, Urho Kekkonen National Park, Riisitunturi National Park and Oulanka National Park, all of which offer spectacular landscape and sceneries.

Kemijärvi, the northernmost town in Finland, is located in Eastern Lapland. The town is a beautiful place right by the lake Kemijärvi and offers a good selection of interesting locations in the vicinity.
